The Secret Life Of Pets :Have you ever wanted to head to the movies with the family, but felt bad for the pup at home that you have to leave behind?
Dog owners in Tel Aviv were invited to a screening of the film The Secret Life of Pets and were invited to bring their pups, too!
The movie shows what animals do when nobody is looking — just like this kitten who climbed over the partition to play with a lonely puppy when the pet store closed.
Tel Aviv-Jaffa municipality arranged what was being billed as a first-of-its-kind event for pet owners at the Roof Top Cinema of the Azrieli Mall in Tel Aviv-Jaffa.
The response was overwhelming.
“We were invited to come here and see the movie together with the dog, and I think it is really cool because it’s so unusual,” said Ilya Liz, a dog owner who brought her pooch to the screening.
And because of the film’s nature, it felt only right do have the screening include both owners and their pets.
“It is an amazing event. We have 25,000 people in Tel Aviv that have dogs, and we decided to do an amazing event just for them. People who have dogs can come here and enjoy a fun evening with their dogs,” said Ruth Hayat, one of the organizers of the event.
